Terms of Use

By using the Sinaps app ("the Service", "the App") you agree to these terms. If you do not agree — do not use the service.

1. Description of the service

Sinaps is a mobile application providing access to AI assistants powered by large language models (GPT from OpenAI, Claude from Anthropic, and others). The app uses these models as a tool — we are not the developer of the AI models themselves.

2. Age requirements

The minimum age to use the service is 13 years. If you are under 18, make sure a parent or guardian agrees to these terms on your behalf.

3. Your account

• You must provide accurate registration data
• You are responsible for the security of your account (passwords, email access)
• You may not transfer your account to a third party
• One account = one user

4. Acceptable use

You may not use Sinaps to:

• Create or distribute illegal content
• Harm other people (threats, harassment, bullying)
• Infringe copyright
• Attempt to hack, reverse-engineer, or overload the service
• Run automated scraping or bulk requests (DDoS, flooding)
• Create content that violates the laws of your jurisdiction

We may suspend or delete your account on violations.

5. AI response disclaimer

Important to understand:

• AI agent replies are not medical, legal, financial, or psychological professional advice
• AI can make mistakes — verify important facts in authoritative sources
• Never make decisions about health, finance, or legal matters based solely on agent replies — consult a qualified professional
• We are not liable for any consequences of using AI replies

A nutritionist, psychologist, or any "specialised" agent in the app is not a substitute for a real specialist.

6. Intellectual property

• Your content (messages, images you send) — belongs to you. You grant us a licence to process that content solely to operate the service
• Agent content (AI replies) — you may use it freely, including commercially. But note: AI may generate content protected by copyright (especially quotes/translations) — responsibility is yours
• The app (code, design, icon) — belongs to the developer

7. Paid features

All core features are free today. Paid subscriptions may be introduced in the future — if so:

• Terms and prices will be announced in advance
• Existing users will not lose free baseline access without notice

8. Limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is". We do not guarantee:

• Uninterrupted operation (downtime is possible for updates)
• That AI replies are error-free
• Data preservation in catastrophic failure scenarios (back up important conversations)

To the extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or punitive damages related to the use of the service.

9. Termination

• You may stop using the service at any time — uninstall the app or email support
• We may terminate the service or your access for breaches of these terms or technical reasons
• After termination, your data is deleted in accordance with the Privacy Policy

10. Changes to the terms

We may update the terms. For material changes we will notify you in the app and/or by email. Continued use after changes = acceptance.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Russian Federation. Disputes are resolved in the courts at the developer's location.
